    Blum-Novotest GmbH
    Laser measuring system LC50-DIGILOG

Modern CNC-controlled machine tools are the key to maximum productivity. In order to make the most of their high accuracy, systems that automatically control the geometry and wear of the tool are the key.

The LC 50-DIGILOG tool measuring system from Blum-Novotest sets new standards. It is a non-contact system that measures tools at the highest speed and precision under the harshest conditions. This ensures that the machine's potential is optimally exploited.

This new machine generation represents a unique selling point for the machining of rail vehicle wheels.

    CERATIZIT Deutschland GmbH
Uncompromising turning with full degree of freedom

"We now come to the second place in the category of companies with over 100 employees, CERATIZIT Deutschland GmbH from Kempten in the Allgäu with their innovation "High Dynamic Turning".

For more than 30 years, about 350 CERATIZIT employees have been developing hard material solutions for cutting and wear protection. High Dynamic Turning is the first system to use a movable milling spindle for turning to dynamically generate the corresponding angle of the 360° rotatable multi-bladed tool to the workpiece.

By rotating around its own axis, the cutting edge can be changed without interruption. Even complex contours are possible with only one tool.
This results in up to 200% more productivity, 100% less set-up time, and up to 66% tooling reduction."
